Each Grama Niladharis will pay Allowances granted to the senior citizens, disabled persons and those who are suffering from renal ailments will be paid to the beneficiaries today(06 April).
The Grama Niladharis will visit each house to hand over the allowances, said Head of Media Coordination for the Special Presidential Task Force on Essential Supplies Prof Charitha Herath.
Senior citizens who are above 100 years will also receive their special allowance from the respective Grama Niladharis.
Those who are entitled to the pension scheme for farmers and fishermen will receive their pension tomorrow and this program is coordinated by the Agrarian Services Department officials and Agriculture Development officials. Pensioners who failed to obtain their pension on April 2 and 3 can also obtain their pension today(06 April).
