Sri Lanka makes a robot to diagnose 200 diseases

Pamuditha Premachandra, a past pupil of Colombo Ananda College, presented a locally manufactured robot machine (Nextbots) to Sri Lanka Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa on wednesday

This robot has the ability to diagnose 200 diseases and provide medical advice, as an assistant to health care professionals. Therefore, I have instructed to support the development of this innovation, for it to be used during this epidemic.

Prime Minister has advised relevan authories to further upgrade this robot and deploy it to support health personnel in the event of disasters.
