3.5-magnitude earthquake hits Delhi

A massive earthquake reported Delhi-NCR on Sunday evening(12),foreign media.

Tremors were felt all across the national capital region.

Reports suggested that an earthquake of a magnitude of 3.5 Richter scale hit Delhi at 5.45 pm on Sunday evening, prompting panic-stricken people to rush out of their residences.

Its epicentre was in Wazirabad in northeast Delhi at the depth of 8 km. The epicentre was located at Latitude 28.7 N and Longitude 77.2 E.

The tremors were also felt in neighbouring Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad.
