Sri Lanka has launched a new mobile app, called “MyHealth” to reliably inform, communicate and respond to the spread of COVID 19 deadly virus.
The application launched by the Ministry of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine and the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA).
The application was introduced by the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) and has been widely used by private organizations and individuals.
This app provides information, distribution, and feedback to relevant sections of the medical authorities on viral infections.
Citizens connected to this app downloaded from the google play, Huawei Appstore store and apple app store, are asked to register their location.
One of the main features of this app is that it can be shared with all users when a virus is detected. At the same time, the trajectory of the infected person is mapped with your whereabouts so that the app’s user may be able to reveal the history of the stored locations in the event of a virus infection.
Also, the tape recorder has been kept safe for the past 14 days and is not transmitted to any external system without the permission of the mobile app user.
This is done by ensuring that your data is kept secure. Also, if you have a close contact with an infected person, you may be automatically registered with the National Disease Surveillance System.
It also helps in detecting coronal disorders, controlling the spread and protecting others from the infection.
